Lace and Faux Leather...White After Labor Day...Of Course

I love mixing sweet feminine items, with tougher, edgier pieces.  Plus, I've never followed silly rules, such as, no white after labor day...I mean was that really ever a guideline? I absolutely love winter white and all-white looks throughout fall and winter. 

This dress is super flattering...I love the neckline and the lace overlay.  I scored it at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but it is now on sale for even less...at a mere $29...yay for you guys!! It also comes in blush which is perfection as well.

I'm wearing a size small in this dress...which makes me think it runs slightly big, because I almost feel like I'd be more towards a medium, with this style, from this brand.  In the jacket, I'm wearing a size Small as well, which is true to size here. This jacket is perfect for everyday wear and looks great for dressing up as well.  I always buy at least one new black jacket for the season.  This year I bought this solid one and an embroidered one, that seriously I can't stop drooling over!  Unfortunately, it's way to hot in AZ to be wearing this jacket but for many states, not so much...come on fall...You'll hear this desperate plead for fall for the next month...I'm sorry.  I actually love summer...just not an Arizona summer...it's just too hot here.  Regardless, the dress looks cute on it's own too.

I paired this with one of my favorite booties for fall...I love this style so much, I bought it in black and taupe.  I like mixing textures, and these casual booties make this dress not so fancy.  You can easily dress this up with cute heels, add a black clutch, and it's ready for a night out or hot dinner date...I'll suggest some options below too.  I think this dress would be super cute with flat sandals too.  If I was more adventurous with my hair, I'd pull this into a high flirty pony, pair with flat sandals and call it a day! You could also add a cute hat, and closed toe little booties, taking it into a more boho direction as well.
