Making Life a Little Easier w/Walmart+
One of my favorite life hacks…has definitely been signing up for a Walmart + membership a few months ago. As a busy mom, who is also running my own business, I’m all about efficiency and leaning in. I swear that’s been my theme post baby Gray…leaning in! I’m always looking for ways to make the mundane tasks more efficient, and if possible, off my plate.
Enter Walmart +…It’s a yearly (or monthly) membership that allows me free delivery from my local store ($35 minimum, restrictions apply) so I can have groceries delivered right to my home. I’ll fill my online cart with whatever I need, and schedule a one hour delivery window. I get a text when everything arrives at my front door, and can then go out and grab it…contact free…Easy!
Today I actually just needed more laundry detergent and energy drinks…and that’s what I love…sometimes that’s how life is…you just need a few somethings, and instead of spending all that time driving and shopping and returning home…I simply order from my phone. You have to have a minimum order of $35 (restrictions apply) so I just added in a few extra things to hit the minimum amount, and crossed that off my list.
The ease at which I can do one or two orders a week is so lovely. It used to be a big order once a week/every other week ordeal that my sweet husband took on post COVID, but now our lives are just made easier with the Walmart+ membership.
When we had the fire in our garage back in October, we were most grateful for Walmart+ ! We had a second fridge in the garage, which held food and drinks that the entire family needed on a daily basis, and all our essential back stock was out there. I placed an order the next afternoon and it arrived same day. We needed so much and quick, and honestly it was kind of a traumatic experience, no one wanted to separate from each other to run errands, of all things. Post fire, we have used the membership much more frequently since we no longer have all the extra storage in our garage until that is rebuilt. Walmart+ makes our lives function more smoothly…and that’s everything!
The membership also comes with a 5 cents per gallon savings at all Walmart & Murphy Stations, plus access to member pricing at Sam’s Club fuel centers, as well as mobile scan & go to shop & check out with your mobile phone while in store…contact free and less time at the register.
