On Trend Denim...Flare vs. Slim

Hi friends…wow...it’s been a hectic May!!! With school ending this week and all the end of the year activities…life has been busy! Really looking forward to summer and getting out of the desert heat a little.

Let’s talk denim! I pretty much wear jeans year round…I love a good pair of denim…dressed up or down. I always find the best fitting denim at Express. I love the fit and quality of their jeans and therefore wanted to share two styles I am loving.

Flare Jeans vs Slim Jeans…I consider both of these super on trend pieces to be a must have and styled them a few ways below.

Flare jeans have a fun sass to them…and give off subtle boho vibes which I love. These elongate and slim the legs, and the twist seam detail adds to that. They have great stretch and aren’t thick and heavy. The flair begins at just the right spot, and it’s not an overly exaggerated flare that you will get tired of, it’s the perfect balance. These flares are mid rise and run tts…I’m in the size small.

These Slim Fit Jeans are a fabulous new jean to try for all my skinny jean girls that are wanting something new. They have a super high waist, which I love, because it slims and also elongates the legs. These have great stretch and I love how they sit just off the ankle. A nice modern fit you can easily dress up or pair with sneakers and sandals. They run tts and I’m wearing the size 4.
