S'mores and Glamping ESSENTIALS with Walmart+
One of our favorite family activities has been GLAMPING!! We started this tradition last year for Hartley’s birthday and it’s been an ongoing thing for us, especially this spring…it was becoming every other weekend!!! The girl’s absolutely love the lil adventure in our backyard, and honestly I totally do too…actually, I’m the one suggesting it the most these days…ha! Glamping yes…but I’m not a camper…please don’t invite me…ha! However this is awesome…and we always make it extra special with late night swimming, game nights inside the tent, and of course ice cream and always a movie…We stay up way too late and live it up! It’s a blast!!!!
Walmart + to the rescue…it’s been Walmart + to the rescue many times since I became a member…including the night of our garage fire. I had to rebuy immediately a ton of stuff that was in our garage fridge…Walmart + was able to deliver as soon as same day. Some days I’ve even ordered at night for their first delivery slot to get my girl’s favorite lunch snacks that we ran of, right in time for school the next day. I can’t tell you how many times this membership has come in handy for last minute things we needed, that neither Jordan nor I had time to run out and grab.
I also use it to order gifts, clothing, home decor…actually like my last two posts here….Al fresco dining and Outdoor Entertaining, and Spring Home Decor. I love Walmart+ for when I get little creative ideas for spur of the moment fun for my babies. Let’s face it…My husband and I both own and run our own businesses and things are just crazy busy being parents as well…we are so about convenience! This membership allows me to order in the am, and most days get it same day delivery from my local store to my home. If anything has since sold out, they will email you and ask if you would like to substitute them, and you can also choose for them to automatically substitute brand names at time of ordering…although that’s pretty rare, it can occasionally happen.
Tonight it was s’mores honey…not just for our trips to Sedona anymore…we are finally putting our outdoor fire-pit to use!!! S’mores for all!! Walmart had everything..including the sticks! OMG so much fun, and who doesn't love s’mores…they are everyone’s fav!! School ended this week and I can’t wait to recreate these special little memories all summer long for my girls! This is what it’s about!!! Thanks to Walmart+ for helping execute my last minute creative ideas, or when I forget to order lunch items in advance, or honestly just my traditional weekly delivery…they make my life easy…that’s what I’m looking for…convenience!!

If you need a Tent Recommendation…this one is awesome!!! It divides into three sections, so you can create two bedrooms and a breezeway for eating…we have our beds on the right…and the girls bring all their toys, lovies, and games out on the left (I removed all of that for these photos). It has led lights on the roof inside…which is key…we loved that about our old tent (it was lost in October’s garage fire). This one is bigger and has the shaded awning on the front…which is great to sit under and keep out of the sun. You can remove the top to literally fall asleep under the stars and rise with the sun. It’s incredible. We squeeze in two queens on the right…its bursting, but we like the tent to be the sides so no one rolls off or in between the beds. We bought these mattresses this time and incredible!!! Jordan and I were both blown away by how much more comfortable these were! So worth the investment… and reuse when guests arrive…it literally doesn’t sink in with your body...it’s Awesome!!
